The “DEARTE” fair celebrates its 10th edition and will be held at the Palace of Exhibitions
on Madrid’s Paseo de la Castellana from the 18th to 20th of February 2011 The Feria
DEARTE Contemporáneo (Contemporary Art Fair), the longest-standing art fair after ARCO,
is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year and is changing its name to “Madrid DEARTE,
Feria de Arte Contemporáneo” (Madrid DEARTE, Contemporary Art Fair).In its tenth edition,
Madrid DEARTE is improving its exhibition space by including the garden of Paseo de la
Castellana across from Santiago Bernabéu stadium and turning it into the main entrance
where large sculptures will be installed.
Madrid DEARTE is hugely popular and welcomes more than 15,000 visitors each year.
The fair hosts not only art galleries but also individual artists, entities and institutions
that promote contemporary art.
